Davis Senior High School: A Dream Senior Session in San Francisco
Naima, a senior from Davis Senior High School, wanted her senior photos to reflect her vibrant personality and love for adventure, so we headed to the iconic city of San Francisco. From Crissy Field to Sutro Baths, this session was packed with unforgettable moments, stunning backdrops, and Naima’s unique style. Whether you’re graduating from Davis Senior High School or another local school, this session is a perfect inspiration for showcasing your individuality in a senior photoshoot.
Starting at Crissy Field: Foggy Magic
Our first stop was Crissy Field to capture the coveted Golden Gate Bridge in the background. We chose a striking scarlet red parachute dress from my client closet, which contrasted beautifully with the beach setting. However, San Francisco’s famous fog rolled in, and the bridge was completely hidden.
Even without the bridge, Naima embraced the moody atmosphere, and we captured ethereal shots with her flowing dress on the beach. Sometimes, the unexpected creates the most magical images, and Naima’s photos here were absolutely breathtaking.
Lombard Street: Glam Meets Personality
Next, we headed to Lombard Street, where Naima wore a stunning red satin dress that complemented the vibrant cityscape and winding street. Adding her guitar and sneakers to the mix gave the session a playful, personal touch that showcased her love for music and her laid-back style.
A classic San Francisco trolley car appeared in the background, elevating the urban vibe of the photos. Naima’s confident, radiant energy shone through in every shot, making this part of the session unforgettable.
Palace of Fine Arts: Elegance and Grace
Our next stop was the Palace of Fine Arts, an iconic location that exudes elegance and grandeur. Naima selected a gorgeous two-piece blue skirt and top from my client closet, and the combination of her outfit and the stunning architecture created pure magic.
The Palace’s arches and soft light were the perfect backdrop for Naima’s sophisticated look. These photos highlighted her grace and poise, giving her session a timeless quality.
The Sun Returns at Crissy Field
As luck would have it, the fog lifted, and the Golden Gate Bridge reappeared. We quickly returned to Crissy Field to capture the breathtaking shots we’d originally planned. The bridge, bathed in golden sunlight, provided the perfect background for Naima’s parachute dress, creating an iconic San Francisco moment that she’ll treasure forever.
Ending at Sutro Baths: Sunset Perfection
We wrapped up the session at Sutro Baths, where Naima changed into casual attire for a relaxed and carefree vibe. The stunning sunset over the Pacific Ocean provided a warm, glowing backdrop, making these final photos as dreamy as the rest of the day. Naima’s joy and excitement were evident in every shot, making the sunset photos a perfect end to a perfect session.
