Paige, a senior from Rocklin High School, decided to make her session unforgettable by traveling to the stunning Sand Harbor Beach at Lake Tahoe. The combination of beautiful outfits, diverse backdrops, and incredible scenery made for a series of truly spectacular senior photos. From walkways and trees to boulders and sandy shores, Paige embraced every part of this location, and her session was nothing short of magical.
Starting in Style: Trendy Outfit on Walkways and Among Trees
Paige kicked off her Rocklin High School senior girl photos in a trendy, stylish outfit featuring a long, white, flowy skirt and a jean vest top. This look is super popular right now and for good reason! It was the perfect choice for the natural walkways and wooded areas of Sand Harbor Beach. The soft textures of her outfit contrasted beautifully with the surrounding trees, creating images that were both fashionable and timeless.
Dramatic Shots on the Boulders: A Blush-Colored Flowing Dress
Next, we made our way down to the iconic boulders with the breathtaking lake in the background. Paige changed into a flowing blush-colored dress from my client closet, which added an ethereal, almost fairytale-like quality to the photos. The dress moved gracefully in the wind, and the stunning scenery of Lake Tahoe, with its glass-like water and majestic boulders, created a perfect backdrop. The combination of Paige’s elegance and the natural beauty around her resulted in some truly unreal photos.
Denim Jumpsuit and Sandy Shores: Capturing Fun and Personality
For her next outfit, Paige changed into a chic denim jumpsuit—an absolute favorite of mine! This look was perfect for shooting in the sandy areas of Sand Harbor Beach, where we focused on playful poses and capturing her fun personality. Posing was key in this part of the session, and while I offered some direction, Paige was a natural in front of the camera. Her confidence and energy really shone through, creating images that were lively, spirited, and full of joy.
Final Look on the Water’s Edge: A Lightly Printed Skirt and Crop Top
For the final look of the session, Paige wore a lightly printed long skirt paired with a simple white crop tank top. We shot on the shores of Lake Tahoe, right at the water’s edge. The gentle waves and soft colors of the lake at sunset provided a stunning background that added a calm, serene mood to her Rocklin High School senior girl photos. This last set of shots captured a sense of reflection and anticipation, perfectly rounding off her session with a touch of elegance and grace.
