Capturing Epic Memories: A Lake County Photographer’s Dream Session. As a high school senior photographer in Lake County, I’ve had the pleasure of working with many incredible students. But Kate’s session? It was on another level! From the stunning setting in the mountains to the jaw-dropping props she brought along, it was the most epic and fun photoshoot I’ve ever experienced. Let me take you on a journey through this unforgettable day!
The Perfect Setting in Lake County
When Kate and I first discussed her senior session, we knew we wanted to showcase the natural beauty of Lake County. We found the perfect spot in the mountains, surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views. The scenery alone set the stage for an unforgettable photoshoot, but Kate took it to the next level.
A Midnight Blue Dream: The Chevelle
Kate pulled up in the most stunning midnight blue Chevelle, and I couldn’t believe my eyes. This classic car was not only a beauty to behold but also the perfect prop for our session. The sleek lines and shiny exterior of the Chevelle added a touch of vintage charm and elegance to the photos. Every angle, every shot with that car was pure perfection.
Soaring High at Lampson Field
Just when I thought the session couldn’t get any better, Kate surprised me with another incredible prop: a plane! We headed over to Lampson Field, our local airport nestled among the beautiful green and blue mountains. Kate has been taking flying lessons, working toward her pilot’s license, and we had the amazing opportunity to use the plane she’s been training on.
Top Gun Vibes and High-Flying Fun
At the runway, Kate channeled her inner Top Gun with a fantastic outfit that screamed aviation chic. We took some of the most AMAZING photos ever, capturing her confidence and spirit with the plane as our backdrop. The shots were dynamic, powerful, and full of life.
A Classic Combo: The Chevelle and the Plane
The session didn’t stop there. We brought her Chevelle out next to the plane, creating a unique and visually striking combination. The juxtaposition of the classic car and the sleek aircraft made for some truly one-of-a-kind images. It was a photographer’s dream come true!
Sunset Perfection: The White Dress and Valedictorian Stole
As the sun began to set, Kate changed into a beautiful white dress and adorned her valedictorian stole. The soft light of the sunset cast a warm glow, highlighting her accomplishments and radiance. Standing in front of the plane, she looked like a true star. These moments were not just photographs; they were memories captured in time.
The Grand Finale on Runway 28
We ended the session in the most epic way possible: with the Chevelle on runway 28. The long stretch of the runway, the open sky above, and the sense of freedom and adventure all came together to create the perfect closing shots. It was the best session ever, hands down.
