Fall Photos | Elk Grove Senior Portrait Photographer Fall is such a colorful time of year to take your senior photos! Here are a couple of my favorite places to take photos in the greater Sacramento Area!

The State Capitol

The Capitol is home to a variety of trees, which translates into a color explosion during the Fall! The trees turn bright yellow, red and orange!! If you are looking to stay local for that Fall feeling, look no further, the Capitol and downtown Sacramento are home to the most colorful trees in Northern California.

Apple Hill

If you are looking for some Apple Cider, Apple Pie, and Apple donuts, head up to Apple Hill for the yummiest treats! You will also find that many farms are covered in beautiful fall colors and will let you take photos in their orchards.

Gibson Ranch

Located on the outskirts of Roseville you will find a quaint county park, that has fully stocked fishing pond, horse trail rides, and a petting zoo. What a great place to take the kiddos for the day, and also the most beautiful backdrop for fall photos, with its breathtaking sunsets and views.

Clarksburg

Just a short trip down the Delta you will find beautiful wineries and vineyards painted in red and gold during the fall. The rows of vines changing colors is quite the site, and a perfect setting for photos.

Lake Natoma

Straight up highway 50 you will find the perfect lake for kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. Lined with trails and beaches, Lake Natoma is a great stop for the adventurous type. And of course this nature stop is full of beautiful oaks and berries perfect to snap that fall family photo.
